Congratulations to Laura & Ian Barker on their wedding on Saturday 27th July 2019. Despite the rain the wedding was a truly wonderful, rustic and heartfelt day.
The touching memorial ladders, laden with photographs of loved ones (including the Brides beloved Grandfather) who are no longer here but always in their hearts was a truly touching dedication.
The groom up-cycled an antique frame that once housed a mirror and transformed it into a blackboard for the dance floor signage/rules. The busy groom also made the rustic signage that donned the farm to guide guests from St Katherines Church, Loversall to The Barn!
The bespoke and sentimental names of Cornish towns were the table names, rather than table numbers, which adorned each table. The Cornish table plan was done by The Ivy Basket whom also did the rustic vending machine and blankets.
The chairs and floral decoration on the staircase were lovingly decorated by the fantastic Karen at All Occasions.
But they didn’t forget the young at heart and little one’s present, with courtyard games and a mini tipi tent for the tiny tots to play in and with. The courtyard games were by the Rustic Wedding Box.
The wedding reception sit down meal was done by the Complete Catering Service and the evening food was done by The Pizza Guy, all of which was cooked on site.
Some of the additional suppliers to the wedding were the Prestige Event Company for their Rustic Love Letters, carter and postbox; Abi Alton for the guitar/keyboard/singing; Milly’s cake for the spectacular cake! The amazing flowers on the tables and bridal flowers were lovingly arranged by Hibiscus Flowers and finally the photography undertaken by Ben Harrison.
The Cornish style and feel of the event was thoughtful down to every last detail. But despite this the atmosphere was relaxed and filled with love and laughter.
Laura & Ian, it was a true pleasure to host your wedding and to aid you in making your day truly memorable.
