Congratulations to Charlotte and Joe who were married at St. Katherine’s Church in Loversall followed by a wedding reception at Unique Occasions at Loversall Limited on 6th October 2021.

The bride and groom certainly started their married life off in style with a tipi wedding reception which was supplied by Serentipi and erected in the Wedding Meadow here on the farm. Our shepherds hut was supplied to give facilities to use whilst the festivities took place.

Despite the torrential rain the night before and with the efforts of the team here and especially the team at Serentipi, the tipi and surrounding area was in pristine condition to accept the wedding guests when the sun shone on their day the next morning. A special thank you to Phil at Serentipi for attending at night, during the storm, to ensure the tipi was safe and again at dawn the next morning with his leaf blower!

Needless to say that the guests and especially the bride and groom had a wonderful day. The band Simply Madness played and the first dance was definitely unique and full of joy – see our little clip below in one of the two videos.

The delicious food was loving created and cooked by the wonderful team at Mr & Mrs Pickwicks with pulled pork, salad  and Dutch waffles during the day and their amazing pizzas were feasted upon at the night.

The lovely cake was created by the brides sister and they even gave guests an alternative with a pork pie cake!

The family decorated the tipi’s and tables themselves and everything was captured by James Davies and Visions of Grace.

An added bonus is that the following day all the close family gathered for pie ‘n’ peas in the barn to reflect on all the fun that was had the day before and to recover from some rather sore heads we suspect hehe.

Congratulations to Charlotte and Joe, it was a true pleasure to host your wedding in our Wedding Meadow and we wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and lots and lots of mad dancing together.
