This picturesque place of worship really is a hidden gem. It is hard to imagine a more inviting and beautiful location for a dream church wedding. It was built before 1207 by the Fossard family, who owned the Manor of Hexthorpe under Count Robert de Mortain (half brother to William the Conqueror) and has been recently fully renovated.
The Vicar of St Katherines, who also oversees the congregation of Wadworth church, is happy to discuss the marriage plans of couples outside our small parish.
Located next to The Wedding Meadow, behind Garden Cottage and overlooking The Barn…..wedding parties have the enviable ability to have the perfect backdrop for post ceremony photography and able to walk straight into their celebration venue!
